Walker Elementary School is designed to house students on a multi-track year-round calendar. The campus is immediately adjacent to another District campus, and shares playfields and hard court play areas. The site includes two two-story classroom buildings, a multi-purpose/media center/community room, administrative offices, food service and covered lunch area, and kindergarten complex. Community input and requirements have been integrated into the design through the development and placement of access to the media center for community meetings and events, and the design for a central plaza that supports both school and after school community functions.
