The Rogers Middle School Gymnasium is a joint-use project between the Lawndale Elementary School District and the City of Lawndale. It was fast tracked to secure matching grant funding. School District and City offices support City recreation programs, community meeting facilities, a full gymnasium floor with bleachers, storage, a shared reception lobby and serving kitchen. Areas of use are zoned for easy supervision and can be secured independently at different hours of operation. Building materials are durable, economical and simple. Site improvements include expanded parking lot, play courts and a new formal entrance to the Rogers Campus.
