The Easter Seals Ontario Child Development Center project has been rewarding, enabling the firm to provide design services for the renovation of an existing abandoned childcare center. The newly renovated facility provides a wonderful resource for families and children with special needs. The KABOOM program, in collaboration with Home Depot, donated and constructed the playground and gardens for the center using 100% volunteer labor. The design meets Head Start design criteria including considerations for oversight, views and supervision, light and air, finish materials, work areas, staff support, and kitchen design.
