This historic, oceanfront school modernization required sensitive upgrades for accessibility while retaining the beauty and exterior design integrity of this treasured school site. Improvements for fire and life safety, new technology, and interior and exterior access compliance have been accomplished with primarily undetected strategies. With collaborative input from the school community, special finish and color selections and historically-sensitive fixture selections define the special attention give to this unique property while still maintaining parity among other school District facilities. Previous enhancements by the School Foundation were retained and integrated into the new improvements.
