The Center for Regenerative Studies is a unique research, teaching, and living facility providing an environmentally focused academic program for the California State University. Designed for self-sufficiency, the Center is carbon neutral. Solar buildings, reclaimed water systems, aquaculture, and environmental agriculture programs provide a framework for research and experimentation. Among the first of its kind in the Country, this project has been recognized as one of the First Top Ten Green Buildings by the U.S. Department of Energy and initialted the Southern California Edison Savings by Design Program.
