The new Collaborative Studies classroom building provides flexible classrooms in a community college setting to serve both advanced high school and college students. The design is intended to compliment the new Dougherty + Dougherty design for the adjacent three-story Library/Learning Resource Center, networking the two buildings electronically to bring state-of-the-art distance learning capabilities to the student body. These two buildings define the edge of the campus central quad. In addition to general classrooms, specialized classrooms provide support career training for the health sciences and hospitality programs.
