The Chapman Hills Elementary School campus houses 600 students from kindergarten through grade six, and provides extended daycare facilities. Adjacent to a City park, the new school accommodates community intramural sports activities. The campus infrastructure supports electronic communications and teaching aids. High performance, energy efficient design features are incorporated to provide natural light and ventilation throughout the facility. A classroom cluster plan has been developed for the team teaching and shared resources. Although funding has been provided by school bonds, the square footage allocation and budget meet state funding limitations.
