This new Science Building reflects high aspirations for an award winning science program. Designed to LEED Platinum, it is envisioned as a teaching and research laboratory and a magnet for student activities. Located adjacent to a steep hillside, the building serves as a bridge between the upper and lower campus. Labs for the physical sciences, life sciences and chemistry occupy each of three floors with shared support, office, teaching and atrium gathering spaces. The faculty envisions this facility as an incubator for interdepartmental programs, and “the place to be” on campus.
