A generous donation from Richard and Mary Carpenter, combined with State funds, have enabled the Westlake High School Lecture Hall Building to be transformed into a new, 380 seat, 7,500 SF Carpenter Family Theater. All new acoustics and lighting, a new orchestra pit, side vestibules, projection and control room, second level catwalk with audio/video, green room, cast restrooms, and set and prop rooms complete the transformation. The elegant reception area provides 5,000 SF of pre-function and intermission space, making this a wonderful learning environment for talented students seeking an education in performing arts.
